Keep things simple this holiday season with an easy drop cookie filled with festive flavours like cranberry, orange and chocolate with this recipe for cranberry orange and chocolate chip cookies.
I’m a bit behind on my Christmas cookie baking this year. But I’ve got a couple of great recipes to share with you for the holidays. These Cranberry Orange and Chocolate Cookies are just the beginning.
Where have I been the last week or so? I wish I could tell you that I was off on some fun adventure, but at the moment, my life is not that exciting. In reality, I was moving my blog over to a new server (let’s just take in how nerdy that sounds…). I also finally finished reading The Interestings by Meg Wolitzer – it was good, but a slow read. I’ve also hopped on The Hunger Games bandwagon about 3 years too late. Better late than never, right? As you can see, I’ve been busy.
Coming up with unique ideas for Christmas cookies is really hard. I feel like everything has already been done, and if it’s been done, it’s probably better than something I could do. This recipe, while it might not be the most unique-wish-I’d-thought-of-that-first kind of cookie, it combines some classic, holiday flavours: cranberry, orange, white and dark chocolate. If you’re looking for a simple, cookie that doesn’t require decorating, this will be the perfect recipe for you.
