Grilled Asparagus with Sesame Dressing

Grilled asparagus is a delicious summer side dish. Add Japanese-inspired flavours by tossing with a simple dressing made with sesame oil, soy sauce and rice vinegar.

Ingredients
1
lb
asparagus
,
ends trimmed
1
tablespoon
canola oil
For dressing:
2
tablespoon
sesame oil
2
teaspoon
soy sauce
1
teaspoon
rice vinegar
toasted sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
Preheat barbecue to medium. Toss asparagus in canola oil in a large bowl.
In a small bowl, whisk together ingredients for dressing.
Barbecue asparagus, turning often until lightly charred and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes.
Toss with dressing and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
Serve immediately.
